Stanley

A short fancomic of The Stanley Parable, with text adapted from "I am asking you to endure it" by Tumblr user intactics. I have a lot of feelings about both this game and this poem, and they felt like a natural fit together.

There's quite a bit of deliberate color symbolism here, which I don't always do. (Shocking, I know, since I'm the color theory guy.) The palette grows cooler and the shadows grow darker each time Stanley jumps. Many of the lights shown have a yellow tinge to them. And so on.

I was battling some health issues while working on this, so it took a while. But I'm ridiculously proud of how it turned out.
